A few times a year, a limited, one-of-a-kind New Collection is released online. You can follow me on Instagram for more information about when the next shop drop will take place or else subscribe to the newsletter for early access to news about the release date of each collection. Subscribing can make it easier to get one's hands on a given piece, considering they are mostly one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable items. Payment is processed via PayPal or else upon pick up in cash.
Sale items and so-called 'seconds' are also posted a couple times a year as part of a Flash Sale. To know when this will be taking place, give me a follow on Instagram or subscribe to the newsletter.
Being a one-woman-show, all pieces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, though exchanges and returns are possible. More on this below.
What about shipping?
At Slou Ceramics, we aim to provide a smooth shopping experience.
Most orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days. Once your order is securely packaged, you will receive a tracking code via DM or email immediately after shipment. Please note that while shipping within EU countries generally takes 3-5 business days, overseas shipments may require additional time.
Please be aware that shipping costs are not included in the item's price and are detailed below based on the destination:

Germany: €6 flat rate (up to 2kg).

Other EU Countries: €13 flat rate (up to 2kg).

UK and Switzerland: €20 flat rate (up to 2kg).

For packages exceeding 2kg in weight, shipping costs will be calculated on a case-by-case basis to ensure fair pricing.
Are the pieces food- and dishwasher-safe?
Our pieces are crafted for longevity and convenience.
Slou Ceramics takes pride in crafting pieces that are fired at temperatures exceeding 1200°C, ensuring they are food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe. While our ceramics can withstand these conveniences, we always encourage hand-washing. This practice not only contributes to prolonging the lifespan of your cherished pieces but also helps maintain their original appearance. Sudden temperature changes can potentially harm the items.
With every order, you'll receive a care instructions card, providing valuable guidance on preserving your treasures in immaculate condition for years to come

While most of our Slou Ceramics creations are unique and one-of-a-kind, we understand that you may have your heart set on an item that's no longer in stock. Don't hesitate to reach out to us at slouceramics@gmail.com, and we can discuss timelines, pricing, and additional details. Each piece will be meticulously handcrafted from start to finish, adhering to the original design to the best of our ability, exclusively for you. Please note that some variations may still occur.
Once your bespoke piece is ready, you'll receive a notification via email. Please be aware that returns are not possible for custom-made products
What about
non-EU orders
Please be aware that your order will be shipped from Germany. For overseas orders, shipping costs will be calculated on an individual basis. Additionally, please note that there may be additional toll charges incurred before you can collect your order. These toll charges are determined by the relevant authorities based on the value of your order and are the responsibility of the customer

Is same city pick-up possible?
Certainly! If you reside in Nord-Rhine Westphalia and prefer to collect your order to save on shipping costs, please reach out to us at slouceramics@gmail.com. Once your order is ready, you'll receive a notification with details for a convenient date and time for pickup.
Can I return my order?
Slou Ceramics is a small business committed to your satisfaction. If you purchase an item that doesn't meet your expectations or simply isn't to your liking, we offer the option to exchange it or return it. Please note that any additional shipping costs for returns or exchanges will be your responsibility. To ensure the safe arrival of your order, we meticulously wrap, label, and package each item. However, if your pieces are damaged during transportation, kindly send an email to slouceramics@gmail.com along with a photo of the damaged item(s) within 24 hours of their arrival. We will promptly discuss the next steps to resolve the issue.
